Rafael Vavrik is a Biochemical Engineer graduated from the University of São Paulo, deeply passionate about business, corporate finance, capital projects, strategy, and economics. He began his career in the industry, working in research and technical service labs, before transitioning to Business Development, Corporate Finance, and Project Finance, where he has been working for the past five years. He gained experience at PwC in Corporate Finance & Investment Banking and Capital Projects & Infrastructure. In Brazil, he worked at a boutique firm focused on infrastructure, managing M&A, Debt Advisory, and Project Finance projects. In Madrid, he served as Head of M&A for Latin America and Europe in a boutique focused on tech companies. Currently, he is an Associate in Capital Projects & Infrastructure at BDO while completing a specialization in M&A, Private Equity, and Project Finance at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles (IEB).
