Pipeline Capital advised Autobanking on its full acquisition by QI Tech. The transaction marks the buyer’s official entry into the automotive financing market, a significant segment generating approximately R$ 280 billion in new loan originations annually in Brazil. This move reinforces QI Tech’s strategy to expand its financial services infrastructure by incorporating specialized assets.
Founded in 2023, Autobanking developed a platform that captures financing demand directly at the point of sale; it serves over 80 companies and connects around 1,000 dealerships nationwide, generating R$ 50 million in annual revenue. Pipeline Capital’s role in the sell-side process was to highlight the intangible value of this integrated technology pipeline. Through this acquisition, the buyer aims to accelerate the new vertical’s revenue to approximately R$ 300 million over the next 12 months, projecting that the segment will eventually account for up to 20% of the group’s total revenue.
This move exemplifies how strategic buyers use M&A to achieve ambitious growth targets. QI Tech projects revenues of up to R$ 2 billion this year. For the corporate market, the deal’s success demonstrates that efficient niche companies, when backed by rigorous financial advisory, can find liquidity opportunities at attractive premiums during periods of sector consolidation.
