Acquisition deepens Cadastra’s specialist multidisciplinary proposal and reinforces presence in Latin America

Cadastra, a global marketing, technology, business strategy, data and analytics solutions company, announces the acquisition of the e-commerce agency M3, one of the leading technology integrators for digital commerce in Brazil and Latin America. The operation aims to leverage the international expansion of Cadastra (which already has a unit in the United Kingdom) and the provision of technological infrastructure services for e-commerce, thus further strengthening its hybrid and multidisciplinary proposal for brands in the new economy. The business integration will form a company with more than 600 professionals and bases in five countries. The deal was assisted by Pipeline Capital Tech, a global mergers and acquisitions firm.

“Technology has been the main guideline in the country’s inorganic growth strategies. And this desire is in line with our belief. It is necessary to incorporate new platforms and tools, because the level of competitiveness is no longer regional and has become global in this field. post-pandemic world,” says Alon Sochaczewski, founder and CEO of Pipeline Capital.

For the CEO and founder of Cadastra Thiago Bacchin, “we found in M3 a partner with expertise and capabilities that are very complementary to those of Cadastra. They already have a presence, clients and ongoing projects in the main Latin American markets, thus being able to be a channel for us to take our other services. M3 also deepens our strategic performance in e-commerce by carrying out all the implementation of the necessary technologies”.

With a team of 125 professionals (of which 80 are developers), M3 has special expertise in VTEX technologies, being a quadrant leader among platform service providers in Brazil and Latin America. The agency has an established operation in Latin America with offices in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico. It serves clients such as Carrefour, Allied, Crocs, Coppel, KPMG, Saint Gobain and VTEX itself. M3 has already received important recognition from VTEX as a Highlight Agency of 2020, Diamond Certificate and Grand Prix Award, in addition to winning the Hackathon VTEX Day 2022.

The founder of M3, Pablo Ribeiro, points out that “when carrying out the implementation or improvement of technologies for digital commerce we identified – or even had the demand – for solutions in the areas of data, market intelligence, performance and digital marketing. Now, we will be able to provide our customers a 360° range of solutions, accelerating our growth. We also had plans to open an operation in Europe, which Cadastrar already has, being, therefore, another great opportunity for joint growth”.

The CEO of Cadastra adds that “the acquisition of M3 is part of our ongoing inorganic expansion plan. We have other assets under evaluation, always with the idea of complementing our portfolio and consolidating our global size”.
