Study shows an 8% growth in the number of companies compared to last year;
the tool serves as a business opportunity guide for the entire industry

Pipeline Capital, a global M&A group with over 12 years of operation, has just released its new 2024 mapping of the E-commerce industry in Brazil. This study was conducted in partnership with E-Commerce Brasil and supported by GVBG Advogados.

The map highlights the presence of over 1,250 companies within the E-commerce ecosystem, reflecting an 8% growth compared to last year’s study, which included 1,150 companies. In this mapping, companies were grouped into 9 distinct categories: E-commerce Implementation & Platforms (254), Marketplaces (58), Marketing / Sales (305), Payments (100), Customer Service (79), Logistics (157), Management (158), Support (55), and Security (36). These categories were further divided into 37 subcategories.

The Marketing / Sales group is the area with the highest number of subcategories (8). Among them, the most prominent “planet” is Digital Marketing / Performance Agencies (123 companies).

“The evolutionary map presents the current stage of the E-commerce industry in Brazil, with a complete and easy-to-read depiction of the entire ecosystem of this important industry that is growing and fostering an increasingly solid ecosystem in our country”.
